PENSION REFORM COMMITMENT
I recognize that public employee retirement costs are unsustainable and are a true threat to the ability of Marin County to maintain vital services and to preserve our quality of life. I commit to control these costs, make every attempt to end all practices that contribute to this crisis, and to make the retirement system more transparent. For issues that require changes in the law, I will actively support legislation that will facilitate these changes.
